What are rules & policies?

Rules and policies are guidelines for the tonality and style of the AI service outputs applied to an AI role. This means that AI roles, besides scoping data access and connecting to actions, can be further customized to adhere to these guidelines.

This is particularly useful when building assistant or chat-based services where outputs of your services will be in written text that needs to follow specific styles and brand personality. You select the policies relevant to your AI role in step 1 in the AI service and Hyperflow workflow.
